Müller Motorcycles out of Königsmoos, Germany makes a wide variety of custom parts for Harley-Davidsons. The owner’s son, Fabian Müller, after completing technical training in school decided he wanted to try his hand at modifying a Harley-Davidson. For the most part, he would use his father’s parts, but he wanted to handcraft some areas and bring a more modern, instead of nostalgic look to the bike.
Off the shelves of his company, he installed the floorboards, front forks, brake calipers, air filter, risers, grips, and other assorted items. Fabian then purchased some fenders from W&W, and went to work customizing them. To give the bike a more modern look, he built a slick techno-springer seat, fitted sporty two-into-two, high-lo pipes, a V-Rod headlamp, and racy Fehling drag bars. Finishing the bike off was a Fabian-designed checker flag paint job applied by Sebastian Dreif.
To me, the finished product is very good looking. Only going 10mm over on the rear tire width means the bike will still turn and won’t be nasty over the bumps. The light mag wheels and powerful disc brakes will help handling and stopping, enhancing the riding experience. The seat could be a little rough, but it probably depends on the padding, it might be OK. Overall, Fabian has done a great job on his first customizing effort, doing the family proud.
