First off on the agenda was covering the Boardwalk Bike Show, the annual ride-in bike show that has produced many a championship bike builds that defy description and sometimes logic. I was off to a good start.
One of the things I like best is getting to talk to many of the great people I have met during my ten years of covering events for Barnett’s as well as meeting new builders that are the future of the industry.
Many of the bikes you will see in the dozens of photos that I shot at the show will get the Barnett’s bump as a full day’s feature in the coming months with more detailed photos of parts and paint.
Enough metal sculptures for one day and on to Main Street for the favorite part of my job, the lovely ladies of Daytona. Hopefully they have thawed out and are tantalizingly trussed for our viewing pleasure.
