Unfortunately the storm took its toll on attendance with everything closed in Charlotte and hundreds of flights cancelled. I had to admit there were more brave souls who challenged the unplowed, unsalted roads to exhibit their custom creations at the Charlotte Easyriders Bike Show than I had expected. I photographed over sixty bikes, which was pretty impressive.

    I was so disappointed that the Purrfect Angelz and the Bob Karney biker lawyer groups could not make it in. Not only did I not get to photograph and share with you the pretty ladies that adorn their booths, but I also missed out on getting my yearly calendars from them this year. I’ll have to settle for kitty and puppy calendars from the Dollar Store.

  All in all it was still a good show considering the weather even though attendance was spotty at best. I still got to see a few friends that I only see at this show and small crowds make my job a lot easier. I would still have liked to have seen the show in all its glory and enjoy the people watching. But as the saying goes, “You can’t beat Mother Nature.”
