Covering something as colossal in size as Daytona Bike Week is not for those heavy of foot. Barnett’s Magazine Online’s loquacious lens man, Mr. Jack Cofano, puts on the miles (seriously) so you don’t have to covering the event from every locale imaginable. Whether it’s bikes, people or shows, you’ll see the guy clicking away as he constantly moves from photo op to photo op and somehow he manages a smile all the way through it. I’ve had to follow him at some events and believe me, it ain’t easy. To bring you his great photos, he covers miles and miles only stopping to engage in a bunch of up, down, and sideways positions while shooting pics before he’s off to the next bike.
This photo bopping around goes on from early morning until he’s out of light and then again the next day and so on. Don’t think it’s a big deal just clicking away? You would be wrong sir as I’ve had to be dragged behind him like a tired five-year old and I can’t wait to get back to my hotel room just to lie down and rest my weary legs. It’s about the closest thing you’ll find to photography boot camp.
But hey, it’s always worthy it to us as he always gets the best shot and his photo editing is perfecto. So, let’s all give an online hand to the man who brings back the best of Daytona. By that I mean, you’re going to see and read about the latest and greatest bikes Daytona has to offer courtesy of Mr. Cofano. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for his exclusive feature bikes that you’ll be sure to love or hate. You might not like some of the bikes we’ll be presenting you, but you’ll love the photos.
