In case you can’t tell from the photos, Saturday was sunny and hot and my kind of weather. I was finally able to put on shorts and ditch the socks, my usual photography costume. It wasn’t just the weather that was hot, so were the bikes.
This year the show was a great success with more custom metal sculptures than you can see at just about anywhere in the USA. They actually had to cut off the bikes arriving after noon, the deadline for entrance, there were so many. A bit of advice to the people that didn’t make it the cut off, get your butts out of bed a little earlier next year and don’t show up at noon expecting to get in.
I cover a lot of events during the year and I can tell you one thing, The Rat’s Hole Custom Bike Show at Bike Week is one of the best custom bikes shows that you will ever see. I hope y’all enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
