Again I missed the kart races, but I’m sure they were fun for all and have become a staple at the show. As usual, it was fun for all and at night way too much fun for some, but hey, that what the Smoke Out is all about.

   It also seemed a bit slow on the drag strip although I didn’t stay late on Saturday. Things might have picked up later in the afternoon although they won’t run on a wet track. Too bad because the drag racing was one of my favorite parts of the rally.

    All in all, a good time had by all with good weather Friday and most of Saturday. I would certainly regret not being able to cover this event in the future and hope it goes on for many years.
