One thing I did not mention in Part 1 or 2 of this coverage is that the ROT rally is an adult’s only rally. No one under 18 years of age is admitted to the rally grounds under any circumstance. Good thing, too, as young minds need not know what their parents act like when away from home. Although I don’t think we give them enough credit; they think we’re just pathetic.
The reason I mention this is that today’s photos contain some of the all-terrain vehicles that are everywhere at the rally. There are approximately 6,000-7,000 RV’s on site during the rally making it a little town of its own. Many of the rally goers bring these vehicles to get around the 125-acre grounds. Off course that’s not the only reason. Nighttime at the rally, and especially Saturday night, there is an endless parade of vehicles parading the grounds decorated with an assortment of “inflatables”, coolers, music and ooh yeah. . .beads.
I think we all know what the beads are for but honestly it’s not like Sturgis or Daytona where the lovely ladies flash their God-given attributes. No sir, here they just ride around topless. Can I get a hell yeah!
A lot of people claim that the ROT rally is an RV rally and not a motorcycle rally; to them I say open your eyes. This is what a rally is supposed to be like, albeit I will say this is so large an area it does make RV hopping a new adult pastime. Personally I think it’s just sour grapes, jealousy, a case of envy that they don’t have an RV. Let me tell ya, if this is what RV rallies are like I gotta get me an RV. I complained a little last year about all the golf carts, all-terrains and scooters riding around but this year I was given a golf cart to use for a while and it made all the difference in the world, and no I didn’t have any beads hanging from it.
If you’re easily offended don’t look at the photos that go with this article. If you already looked at the photos before you read my article and are offended. . .serves you right.
