The thing I like the most about this competition is that the builders vote on the winner, not a bunch of questionable hand-picked judges like myself. If the best should win then the best should judge. In the land of conspiracies this way leaves little to doubt.
About the only thing negative I can say about the show was that I don’t think there were 20 bikes there. I didn’t bother to count but there seemed to be no-shows. There were some very impressive bikes to be seen and win or loose it’s an honor just to be invited.
This year’s winner was Yaniv Evans from Powerplant Choppers. Yaniv will go home with a $10,000 check from the Las Vegas Bikefest and a feature story in Cycle Source Magazine, the Artistry in Iron sponsor.
