Yeah, we’ve all seen mini-bike choppers which usually are just tried-old mini-bikes doing a bad impersonation of the Captain America bike in Easy Rider. You know, throw an American flag paint job on the tank and a set of bicycle ape hanger handlebars and call it a day. But, Jesse had built a real ground-up chopper that just happened to be mini. The proportions were amazingly correct, the metalwork was superb, and the eye-ball searing green finish by Mike Valentine was astounding. The wicked three-horsepower Tecumseh engine was as dashing as three-horsepower could ever be swathed in chrome with curvaceous pipes swirling all around handling the intake and exhaust. Three stink in’ horsepower never looked like so much fun.
Small choppers are not all that 22-year-old Jesse builds. Check out all the cool full-size stuff on his website (www.rawironchoppers.com) and see for yourself what he’s capable of. In the meantime, here’s a cool video that sums up where the young lad’s at. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XSJw6YkKbg&feature=player_embedded
