Contrary to the custom bagger craze that has seriously infected the nation, Joe has stuck to his roots of building a truly custom, custom with no pretense of trying to join any trendy movements. Being a one-man operation he can build exactly what he likes and that’s exactly what he’s always done and that’s exactly what he’s still doing. From his fabricated twin-top tube frame to the monoshock rear suspension to the heavily-modified ’97 Harley Springer front end to the monster 120” Merch motor, Joe’s got his own take on a custom bike. Pictures don’t do this bike justice, though, as you really have to see it up really close to catch all the little hidden details and perfect fabrication work.
It’s frosting on the cake for Joe when not only the average show goer stops by to gawk at his work, but he gets to go home with a bit of recognition like winning Best of Show last Biketoberfest at both the Boardwalk and Rat’s Hole shows. Yup, a pat on the back is nice, but two Best of Shows surely will keep Joe’s garage lights burning until it’s time to unleash another one of his radical creations on an unsuspecting world.
