Power is provided by a 113” S&S show polished motor with diamond cut fins.  Extra horsepower is courtesy of an Edelbrock nitrous system.  A six-speed Accessories Unlimited RSD transmission and BDL 3 3/8 Pro Street primary take charge of getting the power to the 280 rear Metzeler. Climax handlebar controls, with internal throttle and clutch mechanisms, were employed and foot duties are handled by Radii controls.  Alligator Bob stitched up the stingray and leather saddle.  Braking duties are shared by KTech in the rear and American Suspension in the front.

Joe’s brother, Jason Zolper of Zolper Auto Restoration, laid down the pearl white paint and the airbrushing was handled by Paul of Firepainting.  Jive, as always, provided the pin striping.  Joe is one who gives back to his community and spends time helping out kids at local schools.  One expects the Rotarians, Shriners, or Lions Club members to be there for the community, but more and more cities are looking towards their local motorcycle shops for support as well.  This is a trend that was unheard of twenty years ago, and along with building modern cutting edge choppers, Prison City Choppers are now on the front line in both areas.  Check out his website at www.prisoncitychoppers.com or give him a call at 815-744-5033 if you think there might need to be a 280 Kapone in your garage one day.
