Tony has owned this Bad Boy for six years and he finally decided to go all out and dress it up. He contacted El Paso’s premier custom painter, Danny Bally, and together they went to work. A 200mm tire was fitted on the back, covered by a Milwaukee Iron fender. Danny stretched the tanks and applied a super flame paint job with chameleon paint that changes colors as you move around the bike. A host of other parts were added, the most outrageous being the 18” apes and stunning PM wheels. A HiTech taillight was fitted to the swingarm leaving the full surface of the rear fender open for Danny’s paint.
In a move that leaves Tony chuckling to himself a little, he went with a suicide clutch and hand shifter. He admits to forgetting to push in the clutch at a few stop signs so far but hasn’t gotten way out of control and dropped the bike or anything yet. As the owner of the Panache bar, he can’t do too many of El Paso’s weekly club rides and poker runs but does his best to make it to Ruidoso every year, the Southwest’s premier rally and one of the best “riding” rallies in the nation.
The motor was hopped up a little with pistons, a hot cam, the Thunderheader exhaust, and S&S carb. The combination of the modest sized large rear tire and the mild engine modifications have left Tony with a showbike that is still an everyday rider. That is as long as he gets used to that shifter and those high bars pretty soon.

Danny Bally has been painting and building custom bikes in El Paso for many years. He does all the touch up work and custom paint for Barnett Harley-Davidson and even dragged me out a few Saturdays to ride dirt bikes with him, one of his lifelong passions. Danny is even crazy enough to jump his dirt bikes over the ramps that you see set up at rallies and in the X-games on TV. I of course am not. Everyone in our city knows they can get national class painting and customizing done by Danny Bally. As he continues advertising, he will be recognized more and more throughout the nation. You can check out his work at www.dannybally.com. He has been working closely with El Paso’s Mean Street fork builders and Las Cruces’ Ed Denzler for several years. A number of classy choppers have been assembled and painted in this humble wild west town of El Paso recently.
