The sign-in was held at Whiskey Creek Saloon just around the corner from the infamous Johnny’s Bar & Grill, named after the Marlon Brando character in the film that put Hollister on the map, The Wild One. After signing in, people had a choice to either get blessed or BBQ’d at the San Benito County Fairgrounds in Bolado Park about eight-miles south down CA25 towards Pinnacles National Park.
Some opted to check out the Hollister Rally Headquarters across the street from Whiskey Creek and look at the Jay Allen bikes on display while some rode down to Monterey Bay a few miles west. All in all it was a nice peaceful way to spend a warm Sunday in California.
