The lads at B&M knew exactly what they were shooting for and Merlon summed up the build perfectly in one simple sentence saying, “We wanted to give the public a fast, rocking’ machine.” And so you did sir! That’s not to say this is some thrown together build that just happens to be cool, but B&M spent time and effort so this bike is a visual trip of interesting details to look at too once the in initial “Now that’s cool!” impression has been soaked up and digested. All the elements of a classic-stripped down ‘50s bobber are there including the classic fat front tire that always gets my heart aflutter with an attention to detail and finish that no real-time Old School bobber probably ever had. The melding of old and new looks just right too and not contrived like some so-called Old School bikes you see built today. Merlon and Brad, you get a big thumbs-up from me for building a bike that will look fresh twenty years from now and something that will have spent its time out on the open road bellowing through those badass pipes instead of cluttering up a garage as a static piece of dusty unrideable art.
