The New York Bike shown here is a ground up custom, another style of bike Dave turns out. This one started out with a Pro Street Frameworks frame, an even 8 inches up and 8 inches out. With 45 degrees of rake in the frame and six in the trees, the front wheel is over five feet from the front of the engine. American Suspension forks are fitted up front, and RC wheels hold the rubber. A monster 280 tire on back is held by a single-sided swingarm. Powering this limousine of a chopper is a show polished TP 124. A Baker six speed fed power through a BDL Top Fuel belt drive handles the transmission chores.
Paint and bodywork was done by Mark Sporka of Jacksonville and the airbrushing finishing off the paint job was by Bart McCoy of Reno. For a customer who wants an extreme chopper with ultra high performance, the New York Bike is just the ticket. Dave can be reached at Chopper City Customs in Jacksonville, Florida at 904-721-1969 or you can check his work out on the web at www.choppercityusa.com.
