2010 Cincinnati
V-Twin Expo by Easyriders Part 1
Story and Photos by Jack Cofano
This year marks the 10th Anniversary V-Twin Expo by Easyriders in Cincinnati, Ohio, the meeting place for all things V-twin and the people that support the industry. This year’s show was predictably smaller than last year and last year was smaller than the year before. With the economy in the toilet it was to be expected. Dollars are tight and everyone is trying to survive.
As you can see in the photos there were still a whole lot of great bikes showcased as well as some incredible motors and accessories. That said, the one thing noticeably absent was support from the production motorcycle community. Instead of listing which production motorcycle companies weren’t there, I’ll list who was ― Absolutely no one! That’s right, nada, zilch, MIA. To me that’s like Ford or Chevy not showing up at SEMA.
Other than the absentees, the show still rocked. The Duke Energy Convention Center is a great venue and the show itself was good, not as good as yesteryear, but not many events are nowadays. I hate to sound like Mr. Negativity as I had great time as always, but hey, ya gotta keep it real.
