In my opinion, this is the premier custom bike show at Bike Week with the best bikes and best judging. If you win a Rat trophy, you know you are worthy of being called a bike builder. As is usually the case, there are the few whiners that won’t compete in this show because they say it is unfairly judged. Bullhockey! All I can say to the Negative Nellie’s is put on your big girl panties and compete with the best.

            As a huge fan of Ed Roth’s Rat Fink for many years (I have the Rat tattooed on my arm), I would be proud to have that trophy on my mantle. So if anyone has a spare one send it to me ‘cause I’ll never have enough money or talent to win one myself.
