It’s become pretty popular to wrap your pipes for cosmetic and performance reasons. DEI has brought to the motorcycle market a new Pipe Wrap & Locking Tie Kit that combines their popular wrap with stainless steel zip ties to ensure a more secure, long-lasting fit. Take it from me, I have had their wrap on my FXR for almost three years and it has stayed secure, performs great and it still looks excellent.

The DEI motorcycle pipe wrap helps to keep radiant heat in your pipes for improved performance and protect you from serious leg burns. This wrap withstands direct continuous heat up to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit and provides added protection against abrasions, hot oil spills and road grime.

DEI’s Pipe Wrap & Locking Ties Kit is available in either black wrap (#010119), tan (#010122), or for a higher temp resistant wrap, Titanium (#010123) that offers a cool carbon fiber look.  Within the kit you receive one roll of 2” x 25 ft. pipe wrap and four 8” stainless steel zip ties. This wrap was developed for pipes 2” in diameter. To accommodate larger pipes, two of the zip ties can be joined together to achieve the same snug fit.
