Several years ago when Aldo Querio Gianetto (AQG) entered the custom motorcycle building industry he was like many other young, innovative skilled craftsmen. He was single, he had a girlfriend, he had a fast automobile and motorcycle, and most all of his efforts and attentions were focused on building great custom motorcycles, establishing a business that would endure, and building one that would provide customers with complete satisfaction. He quickly established his place in the custom motorcycle-building world, and all of his customers are more than happy with his custom machines and with AQG’s custom motorcycle products. “My girlfriend, Fulvia, who is now my wife, has always been very supportive of my business, and she is very helpful in the shop. We always knew that we wanted a child, but we were very busy in the early years of our careers. On January 7, 2010, our first child, Giorgio Querio Gianetto was born. His weight was 2.950kg, and his length was 51cm. We are very proud of our new baby,” said Aldo.
Aldo was very tempted to give his new son a name that started with the letter “A,” so that the AQG logo would continue, but they decided to settled on the name of his wife’s grandfather, who has passed on, and they were both very close to him. “Maybe our son will start his own line of custom motorcycles with the name, “GQG,” stated Aldo.
Aldo is an Italian world-class custom motorcycle builder, and many of his bikes have been featured in motorcycle publications around the world, with many of them making the covers. One of his latest custom bikes, “Legend GTS” has it’s own personal styling and design. This bike is built to the principle that all of AQG’s bikes are built on; they must be dependable, and must be built to ride. Many of AQGs bikes have won top prizes at many custom bike shows, but he does not build bikes only for show. His special styling and designs just happens to be very eye-catching. “I build all of my bikes to ride, and not some stupid assembly just to compete in some sponsored bike competition. I either hand-make the best possible custom parts for my custom-built bikes, or I buy them from reputable manufacturers, because my customers always want to reach their destinations without any mechanical problems with their machines,” said Aldo.
AQG used an S&S engine and a Zodiac 5-speed transmission for the Legend GTS custom, because this power plant combo has a proven record for reliability and performance. “My local customers usually ride their machines on the weekends, but they also ride during the week in the chaotic urban traffic of Italy,” said Aldo. I still have nightmares from the Italian traffic. Check the technical data sheet for all the parts produced by AQG for this custom, including the rigid frame.
