Ever since his unfortunate passing almost ten years ago, people have been making Indian Larry tribute bikes, some are good, some just okay, and some have been simply terrible. Luckily there’s still an option of getting the real thing or as absolutely close to the real thing as humanly possible. Bobby and Elisa Seeger, two of the finest people you’ll ever meet, worked alongside Larry through thick and thin and have strongly taken hold of the very tough task of continuing to produce Indian Larry bikes and parts that the man born as Larry DeSmedt would be extremely proud of.
From the very first Indian Larry bike I ever saw to any Bobby Seeger Jr. build, I still get a chill up my spine just looking at it. That chill has a lot to do with not just looking at it, but wanting to throw a leg over and ride the hell out of it. That’s not unusual as custom freak I’ve ever met got starry-eyed just thinking about riding an Indian Larry bike. And, that feeling continues unabated with Bobby Seeger’s work. He’s faithfully kept the Indian Larry style, tradition, and high-quality level alive and well and that’s a good thing. Actually, the way Bobby and Elisa are running things now, it’s a great thing.
With a perfect stance and yummy details like the tasty twisted springer, it’s a looker. Meanwhile, the 93-inch S&S Shovelhead pushing a pretty light bike certainly makes it a go-er and banging out hard road miles was what Larry’s bikes were all about and still are. No bragging-rights-only, stupidly huge-inch V-twin or ridiculous tires and wheels need not apply to be part of an Indian Larry Motorcycles build.
In short, every element that made Larry’s bikes special is reproduced and honed by Bobby with all due respect. Like all of us, Bobby and Elisa Seeger are huge fans of both Larry the man and his work. That they took on the unbelievable challenge of keeping Indian Larry Motorcycles as a growing and growing business is a test of their true love and dedication to a man we’ll all miss, but never forget.

By the way, be sure to check out the super-high quality and great looking clothing Elisa sells through her company called Genuine Motorworks (www.genuinemotorworks.com). Her taste is impeccable and the stuff is pride right. I just gotta say that Bobby and Elisa are two of the classiest people you’ll ever meet and the absolute perfect people to honestly keep the Indian Larry tradition on the straight and narrow. Larry would be proud.
