I was recently asked why I don’t photograph some of the more mature ladies at the rallies and shows. Simple, the girls that I do photograph work in one way or another at the shows and part of their job is to be available for photos. I always ask permission before I take anyone’s photo and the girls are always happy to pose for a good picture.

On the other hand when I used to try and photograph the more mature ladies, I ran into some issues like husbands, boyfriends, embarrassment, and the occasional “Are you a pervert?” look. I’m not a big fan of rejection or pain so I avoid conflicts.

Being the mature male that I am, I find beauty in all ages. I have very little in common with the young ladies that I photograph and, as a matter of fact, I would love to be able to feature all the ladies that I can. It just doesn’t work that way.

I AM NOT A PERVERT, no matter what my mother says.
