A Denver’s Choppers springer fork and a 180 rear tire was fitted to give the bike a good look with good performance. A PM front brake and an Exile Sprotor handle the stopping duties.
Custom pieces from Lucky Charm include the stainless steel oil tank which they produce for sale, the stainless steel top motor mount and speedo housing, rear fender, sissy bar, and modified gas tank with inverted sides. Along with welders Bobby Fugelo and Tom Spears, Lucky Charm Choppers produces six or seven one off, old school customs a year. What the customer ends up with is a real Shovel, Pan or Knuckle built with modern materials with stronger performance and improved reliability over their older cousins.
Lucky Charm shows up at a few rallies every year to show their work to the public. You can catch them this year at Daytona, The Smokeout and at the Lansdale, PA bike night. The last of the three is no small affair, 80,000 gathered last fall for this annual event. If you are looking for a brand new old school bike, one that sets you apart in the crowd, check out their website www.luckycharmchoppers.com or give them a call at 610-275-9200.
