Now I don’t know if the fear of a dreaded parking lot loss was what drove Fernando Bates of Simpsonville, South Carolina, to not only customize his 2009 Road King, but slather it in a coat of extremely bright pearl yellow paint that you’d have to be blind to miss, or if he’s just a yellow freak by nature. Either way, this product of a run-through at Xtreme Customs and Cycles’ complete in-house custom shop in Mauldin, South Carolina, will never be mistaken for someone else’s parked ride. Yeah it’s got a pretty big front wheel (26-inches), radically re-done bodywork, air suspension, apes, and all the other current custom bagger power points, but the screamin’ yellow zonker paint is what smacks you in the head first. Oh there’s some extremely (Xtremely?) subtle ghost graphics if you look closely, but subtle this bike is not. If you lose a bike like this in a parking lot, you probably shouldn’t be driving anyway.
Check out Xtreme’s work at www.xtremecustomsandcycles.com and if you’re a yellow bagger freak, be sure to check out the site’s for-sale listing for this bike while you’re at it.
