This is a riding rally. With the loop south to Charleston and the coastal beaches to the north to Wilmington, you could easily put on a couple hundred miles a day in very little traffic with plenty of gorgeous beaches and historic water front downtowns in Georgetown, Charleston, and Wilmington. Even if you don’t take the scenic rides along the coast, the rally is so spread out it could be twenty miles from one venue to another. With the Route 31 bypass running from one end to the other, it’s clear sailing on this six-lane highway with exits to all the main areas. Oh yea, and you never have to go into the city of Myrtle Beach.

Even though this is a riding rally, I would still like to see one of the venues put on a custom bike show as that is a high point at many other events. Do a hard working photo-journalist a favor. I need more bikes to shoot. I’m going through withdrawal.
