Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance Part II – The Cars

After checking out all the bikes, Mike Corbin and I began looking at the dozens of cars from manufacturers such as Rolls Royce, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, Alfa, Auto Union, BMW, etc., etc., etc. The weather, the people, the venue, and the vehicles at Pebble Beach were all awesome. An added attraction to a veteran rally-goer like me were the upper class porta-pots. They were all on trailers with real toilets, running water in sinks, and wood paneling! Every other venue should use them. Yeah, when hell freezes over! Mike and I had coffee with some German auto journalists who chase shows, races, and events worldwide. They agreed that the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is the World’s best show, period.
