The Modified Motorcycle Association of California was the host of this event held on Sunday, December 7th. For days before the Sunday the weather was real iffy, vacillating between needed-precipitation and clearing. Finally on Saturday, the weather broke and we were off to Dixon and the day turned out just fine.
We got to the fairgrounds as vendors were arriving for the 6am setup. Of course, the official in charge didn’t show till close to 7 o’clock so there was a major cluster (you know) that had to get straightened out. But it did, and vendors started unloading and laying out their stuff.
The buyers came, found some treasures among the junk, negotiated and bought stuff, and the vendors packed up till the next swap. Summing it up, I’d say the buyers and vendors went home happy.
