The parade takes place down Congress Ave starting from the Travis Expo Center and is about a forty-five minute scoot to the Capital building. The ROT parade, which holds the Guinness World Record for “Longest Parade of Motorcycles” in the world, is a sight that is absolutely jaw dropping. There are hundreds of bikes. That’s right, HUNDREDS of bikes that proceed to cruise the length of Congress Ave greeted by around 200,000 spectators lining the sides of the street. It is an awesome experience. To give you some perspective on the length of the parade, the bikes start down Congress Ave in daylight and finish after dark, which I might add is a horror scenario for a photographer.

Along with the parade you also get musical entertainment, food and drink vendors and 200,000+ people to party with in all the great bars and restaurants on 6th Street. If you cannot have the time of your life here then maybe it is time to put on the Dockers and Depends. BINGO!
