The Sturgis Hall of Fame honors those who have made it their passion to improve, promote and advance our great sport and lifestyle. The Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made it their goal to protect the rights of motorcyclists through their efforts in the political arena and in grassroots motorcyclist rights organizations. In my opinion, there are many folks in this industry that work hard to improve the industry and don’t get the recognition they deserve by their employer or peers. If you know of a deserving candidate, make it a point to nominate that company or individual who deserves this exceptional honor from the museum.
Anyone interested in submitting a nomination can download the Hall of Fame Nomination form online at www.sturgismuseum.com/assets/file-manager/14-Nomination-Form.doc. The Freedom Fighters nomination form is available at www.sturgismuseum.com/assets/file-manager/FFHoF-Nomination-Form.doc or you can request a nomination form by phoning the Museum at 605-347-2001 or email at info@sturgismuseum.com. Nomination forms must be accompanied by the individual’s credentials and must explain why this individual should be considered for induction.
All nominations need to be submitted to the Sturgis Museum no later that January 10th, 2014. Those chosen will be honored at the annual induction breakfast ceremony on Wednesday, August 6th, 2014, during the Sturgis Rally.
