It’s not about shiny chrome, fancy paint jobs, or expensive customs. It’s all about whatever you can put together with two wheels, a motor, and a full tank of gas. Whether it started out as a Harley-Davidson, Yamaha, BSA, Triumph, etc., these garage-built old timers are a testament to the dedication and ingenuity put into giving these bikes another chance to tear up the asphalt.
I get a big kick out of seeing these bikes pull into the annual bike show sporting road dust, occasional oil leaks, and just plain old grease and grime. And no one pulls out a rag or chrome polish. What you see is what you get, a true ride-in bike show.
