Shop owner Paul Binford, being a huge fan of the show, started it all off; the idea was that we really wanted to build a bike that appealed to the masses, a bike people would get some enjoyment from looking at! First we knew there had to be a mural of Tony Soprano himself on the bike, then came the Bada-Bing hand made seat. The next two features are what we really think sets the bike apart. The one-off wheels with the Sopranos logo, complete with .45 pistol, and hundreds of hours of hand engraving on every possible surface. Throw in bullet holes on the rear fender and tank that make it possible to see straight through to the other side, some chromed up brass knuckle foot pegs, and antiqued frame, and we were well on the way to what has become one of the most beautiful bikes ever to come out of Binford’s. The bike was entered in a dozen shows last year and took first or best of show in every one! We hope that’s a sure sign that we accomplished what we set out to do, build a bike that people really loved and and that Tony Soprano (James Gondolfini) himself would be proud to own! www.binfords.com Manteca, California
