An added attraction was a Vincent swap meet. How many of you all have ever been to a Vincent swap meet? Like me, probably none of ya. It ain’t like your normal swap, it’s more like if Tiffany’s was having a sidewalk sale. Vincent stuff is rare and real pricey.
As you can see from the photos, most Vincents are black with a few exceptions. There was even an Indian with a Vincent engine! Also Sam had acquired a bike built years ago by Vince “Nobody” Doll of Redneck Engineering which I had photographed in Sturgis and Laughlin. Sam was surprised when I recognized it. Also there was a Vincent streamliner just back from Bonneville with salt still on it.
All in all, it was an unusual type of rally which I thoroughly enjoyed.
