As you will see in the three days of photos here at Barnetts Magazine Online there was someone’s dream bike on the floor. Even if you prefer riding a stock Harley-Davidson or mildly-customized personal ride, you have to be amazed at the creativity and craftsmanship that goes into these wild builds. I have been photographing custom bikes for Barnetts for around fourteen years and I still see things I have never seen before.
With the younger builders stepping up every year a new generation of customs are being created. These young minds come up with new ideas and a lot of times on a shoestring budget. They don’t have the TV exposure of a few years ago so it’s an uphill climb for many.
I am sure that the motorcycle industry will rebound as it has in the past and the interest that is generated by these young entrepreneurs will help keep the lifestyle alive.
