Biker Pros awarded over $23,000 in cash and prizes in three classes. The prizes were distributed among three classes: Freestyle, Retro Custom and Street Custom. The winning Freestyle winner receives $2,000 extra to compete in the Championship of the Americas at AIMExpo in the fall. If the bike wins there, it then is shipped to Germany for the World Championship.
The big winners at the show were: Tim Dixon (Freestyle), John Shipley (Custom Retro), and Adam Karns (Custom Street). Other notable builders competing were: Larry Moore, Tim Scates, Hank Thibodeau and Rodney Smith.
I understand that the Cherokee Blue Ridge Run had a successful return to the mountains of North Carolina and that it is very likely returning next year bigger and better.
