Also Corbin’s popular bike show was held on Saturday during the busiest day in the area. The show was held on lush green grass just like Quail and Pebble Beach with plaques and about five grand cash being awarded. The show was dedicated to the memory of the late Biker Bob Warford who ran all of Corbin’s previous shows. This year’s show was put in the hands of the International Master Bike Builders Association.
The Top Hatter’s MC made Corbin the first stop on their annual poker run. Craig Vetter of Windjammer fairing fame put on an extreme economy run for hyper-mileage bikes. Lots of industry personalities stopped by to visit with Mike. An especially welcome celebrity was the man that fellow club members around the world call “Chief” for over the past 50 years. Sonny Barger was on hand to meet and greet his many fans. Sonny is the real deal, not an actor playing a club member. Plus the usual industry vendors that made for an extremely crowded, busy weekend while Corbin’s crew built and installed custom motorcycle seats for some of the bikes in attendance.
