I literally get to scan over thousands of his photos and every now and then something pops up that catches my eye and not for the usual reasons. Take this 2010 Harley-Davidson custom bagger in pink owned by Tiler “Booger” Weston of Elm City, North Carolina. When I looked at the relatively tiny .jpg in the gallery, all I could think of is that “They’ve finally gone too far” as something looked a bit off besides my aversion to pink motorcycles. Blowing it up, it turned out to be some kind of toy Harley that may just have gotten the full custom treatment so it was off to Googleville and there they were in all their Fisher-Price battery-powered glory.
So, I’d like to think that somebody took one of these and customized it in the truest sense of customizing style with a custom pink paintjob and probably some other doo-dads too. Hopefully somebody got at the controller which only allows speeds of 2.5mph or 5mph and ramped that up a bit like every kid really wants. I mean, you could walk that fast even for a young kid and kids always want to go faster. Faster is good.
As far as the pink paint scheme that may not be for everybody, but somebody took some time and added some pinstriping and a bit of graphics. The once-blank lights are now sporting LEDs and somebody whipped up some badges. No word on whether there’s air ride or audio enhancements, but that’ll probably happen next year as the tiny tyke custom bagger trend reaches epic proportions. Don’t say we didn’t warn you so get on the bandwagon of tiny custom baggers before it’s too late. Will this custom tyke bike trend go nationwide or is it a flash in the pan? Who knows, but the custom market is quick to glom onto anything new. Sturgis might never be the same. In the meantime, Tiler “Booger” Weston will just have to work on perfecting his cool standing-by-his-Harley stance and continue to rack up show trophies. Pretty cool stuff for a tyke.
