Custom Cycle Engineering FXST Frame Insert 1984 and up
The Harley aftermarket is loaded with companies trying to catch your attention with wildly designed billet covers to customize your bike. We decided to reach back and borrow a distinctive look from airplane and automobile history. Engine turning or jewelling is a process of polishing a stainless steel plate with small overlapping swirls which form a moiré pattern. This jewelled pattern creates a dazzling finish that reflects light and makes the surface seem alive. Firewalls and dashboards of hot rods are common places where this finish is found including the cowling of Lindbergh’s “Spirit of St. Louis”. What we created is truly unique. We didn’t follow the crowd and neither will you with these classy covers.
