Gotta love the flip open bags, I’m sure it took a lot of planning to get that to open and close properly. With the standard rear suspension I’ll bet it’s a real comfortable ride. They should have made the fairing open to reveal hidden gauges or something; I would have liked to have seen more compartments hidden throughout the bike to tie the whole bike together. I know the fairing color matches the black base of the body, but every other section of sheetmetal has a two-tone theme on it. It might have worked if the front fender was a solid color with the gas tank two-tone. -Greg Friend, West Coast Editor
Congrats to Doug on the very first S&S rubber-mount style for the X-Wedge and the People’s Choice award! I would love to ride this stylish and aerodynamic-looking bagger. It appears as comfortable as it is beautiful. This bike looks just as good from the front as it does from the back. I can’t decide which is my favorite, the sleek fairing or the flow of the rear fender and bags. Of course, the paint is a major highlight on this project. I love the color choice and the way the black on the frame gradates into the copper color flowing into the tank. The touch of paint and S&S logo on the breather cover really adds a great touch. -Penny Osiecki, Advertising Director
