One of the highlights of the event is the annual parade around the lake with a record 22 miles of motorcycles (approximately 75,000 bikes according to reliable sources) and a sound that is the real sound of music to Harley enthusiasts worldwide. The organizers claim this is Europe’s largest motorcycle happening and the third largest in the world after Daytona and Sturgis. Is this true? I don’t know as I stopped counting after 20,000. Either way, it’s a huge event in a beautiful area with winding roads everywhere and that’s all that matters to most of us.
