The friction damper looks and functions like the traditional dampers fitted on classic motorcycles. The damper features a 2 inch diameter machined aluminum adjustment knob, new aluminum yoke top nut, powder coated and stainless steel hardware.
The stationary plate mounts to the horn fixing screw on the frame. The friction plates and washers sandwich the stationary plate and damping force is adjusted by turning the knob at the top yoke. This is easily done, even while riding. Installs in about 15 minutes, and requires no permanent modifications to the bike. It comes with complete installation instructions.
Cost is $140.00 plus $5.70 for domestic shipping.
