This bike definitely has the “Wow” factor. I’m glad that he won his motor class, but it must have been hard to choose between Kodlin and Kawata for the grand prize. He flawlessly blended detail, innovation, and continuity of the theme throughout the bike. C’mon — a single sided, double shock front-end with decent travel, a flipped motor, and an improved direct drive final that will break the rear tire loose? Kodlin is easily one of the top builders in the world. -Greg Friend, West Coast Editor
Clean, clean, clean…that’s my first thought on this Kodlin bike. The single-sided fork and swingarm together are sick. With the motor turned, this bike is just as interesting on the left side as the right side. That always seems to be Kodlin’s goal. The exhaust under the seat without any padding could cause some hemorrhoids from hell but it looks cool. Kodlin keeps his reputation up on throwing down one of the most pleasantly bizarre bikes in the show. -Penny Osiecki, Advertising Director
