Kim’s one of those Renaissance guys that your high school teachers always pushed you to be, but never did. A sculptor for 34 years, Kim’s turning out works of art in metal for little businesses like Donald Trump’s casinos, resorts, and residences, Emeril’s Restaurant and Gloria Estefan’s Bongos Cuban Café in Miami, Las Vegas casinos (The Rio, Harrah’s, and the Monte Carlo), and what seems like a resume of most top-notch casinos, high end hotels and private residences all over the world. Kim works in brass, copper, stainless steel, and aluminum or probably whatever you want and can afford. All I can say is the stuff he does is mind boggling.
What I find most intriguing about the research on this biker is the absolutely beautiful 16-acre underwater reef called the Neptune Memorial Reef he is in the process of building just offshore of Key Largo, Florida. Why is an underwater reef beautiful besides all the coral and multi-colored weird fish it’s sure to attract? Well Kim’s making an absolute ton of sculptures to replicate the Lost City of Atlantis and it looks simply stunning so far. What’s even cooler is that it’s also going to be a permanent resting place for the cremated remains of a hell of a lot of people eventually. Yes, you can be an actual part of this reef after you go to your own Atlantis or whatever you’re into. Be sure to check out this video for a story behind the story. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FltOxgyYt80
And yes, Kim does make some wild custom motorcycles too. And I almost forgot, he’s a musician in a rock band too. For all I know, he’s probably helping out in a soup kitchen or cleaning an elderly lady’s gutters as we speak. Hey Mr. Renaissance Man, that’s enough already, you’re making the rest of us look bad to all those teachers.
