I implore you to look past the tie-dye. Don’t get me wrong, there’s no mistaking one of Rick Fairless’ bikes for another builder, but underneath the rainbow is a down and dirty bike — you just gotta know where to look. Note the aggressively styled custom frame; a pair of large diameter back bone tubes that house the oil and gas, and the downtubes curve towards each other for a unique look. The only brake is incorporated into a tough-looking custom pulley combination and the exhaust pipe threads through the frame beautifully. -Greg Friend, West Coast Editor
Rick said this bike was built with the 1967 Summer of Love and Pamela Anderson in mind. You’ve gotta love Rick for thinking this way. His signature colors and psychedelic designs are wrapped around every bit of this bike perfectly. I love the Spirograph and peace sign design on the primary and the flared, bat-like rear fender. The Ness headlight compliments the flow of the bike as well. I have a hard time getting past looking at all the paint design to focus on the actual build, but I like it. -Penny Osiecki, Advertising Director
