The bikes at the Smoke Out bike shows are always a pleasant change from most of the shows I cover. You won’t see elaborate paints jobs, oversize skinny wheels, or, for that matter, you won’t see many baggers. What you will see is mostly garage-built Old School choppers and bobbers with a few I don’t know what to call them builds.
This year’s ride-in bike show had a little twist courtesy of show coordinator, Jeff Najar, who always puts on a great show. He came up with the idea of having all the motorcycle publishing magazines in attendance pick out a bike and do a feature on it. Included where: American Iron, Bikernet, Hot Bike, Thunder Press, Chop Cult, Full Throttle, American Iron Garage, Cycle Source and, of course, Barnett’s Magazine.
The bike I picked and photographed will be featured in Barnett’s Magazine in the near future and I was more than happy with my pick.
